Spectrum is the working title for my multivolume fantasy series. Each is by itself a single contained story, but they all take place in the same universe on the same timeline. HER has been completed; Angel of Mercy is in secondary edits.
HER is a revenge tragedy. Charlie arrives in England one stormy night. She's running from... something, desperately. Straight off the boat she meets a bunch of thugs, but Charlie's more than tough enough for that. It's what comes after that tests her.
Angel of Mercy is a tale of redemption. London, 1888. A state of fear grips the populace as the murderer known as 'Jack the Ripper' begins his crime spree. Only Eliza, and her guardian angel Raebris are unafraid. They will defeat the evil that is roaming their streets.
Lycanthrope is a tale of madness. Brandon has told himself repeatedly that he won't get caught playing with his band. More times than not, he's wrong. As a freshman starting high school, his parents think he should start doing something better with his time, but the last thing he wants to do is bow to their whims. He barely got them to not move this year as it is. If they would only give him this...
Mermaid (working title) is a love story. A town in FLorida, off Plantation Key, was rocked by the disappearance of Rose, a local high schooler. As she was a highly accomplished swimmer on the local swim team, the possibility that she drowned has been mostly been discounted; however, with her backyard being both on the water and partially in the Everglades, nothing can be taken for granted.
V+Z is a story about the afterlife. As a vampire, Damian had given up on life. He couldn't be around humans and he was otherwise alone. Until he met her-Erin. She was a zombie, a person he wouldn't accidentally kill in a fit of hunger. Unfortunately, Damian isn't the only one with a claim to Erin: government scientists have been investigating unlife for years now, and they want their miracle test subject back.
Black/White/Gray (working title) is a puzzle. Black With the recognition that there are still things out there that science can't explain comes the advent of the Darklings. A small island off the coast of Britain has been taken over; everyone is fighting for their lives. It seems they haven't crossed to the mainland (yet) but since conventional weaponry has little effect, the inhabitants are mostly on their own. White Seamus is atoning. Doing good is still hard for him, but he's slowly learning how things work. Gray The city of Arcadia, SC, is unique. They're not as big as New York, or have lovely weather like Los Angeles. What they do have is superheroes- or supervillains depending on your view. The city is split on who is who. When people who are more than human fight, what are mere mortals supposed to do but get in the way?
Copperhead is a science fiction story. Nathan is working as an undergraduate in the P-tech lab part-time. He specializes in synthesizing biomaterials. However, something strange has been going in the lab from day one. And Nathan just has to know what it is. His mom has always said that his curiosity would be the death of him...
Clockwork has to do with ethics. Cyrus doesn't remember who hurt him, but her knows he has to find his sister. That conviction helped him grasp at life when he was left to die. The cost for his new life is steep: he's part machine now, and dependent on his savior for upkeep. Ms. Sheridan is only beginning to understand the consequences of what's she's done to him...
Project Asrael takes place far in the future. Aliens have invaded the planet and enslaved humanity. Humans are used and abused with no regard to race or creed or dignity. The alien technology is advanced enough to qualify as magic. There is a small resistance, but they're powerless for all intents and purposes. How can humanity come back from this?
